Darling in the Franxx Cosplay

If you’re into giant robots and monsters out to destroy the world, then Darling in the Franxx is the show for you. Set in a dystopian world, the last of the human race is locked in a battle between giant creatures known as Klaxosaurs. For the remaining humans to survive, children in a boy-girl pair are made to pilot giant robots known as Franxx to defeat the Klaxosaurs.

The show has effortlessly made its way into the hearts of otakus and mecha fans worldwide due to its melodrama and intense mecha battles. Of course, fans have taken into cosplaying their favorite Darling in the Franxx characters.

Of all the characters in the show, the main protagonist Zero Two, and her rival to the main male protagonist, Ichigo, are often cosplayed. Zero Two wears a red military-style dress, black leggings, and white boots. Cosplaying Zero Two requires its cosplayer a pink, long-haired wig with a white headband and her signature horns. On the other hand, Ichigo wears her standard uniform: a grey-colored long sleeves dress with a blue chest, a red ribbon on her collar, above the calf socks, and brown shoes. A blue, short-haired wig is required to complete her cosplay.
